Currumbin Alley – Gold Coast, QLD Australia
Currumbin Alley is one of the most exciting and fun surf breaks on the Gold Coast and it’s a great place to learn to surf or improve on your surfing.
Undoubtedly one of the most famous breaks on the Gold Coast…it delivers perfect beginner conditions towards the creek as well as some exceptional right-handers towards the main point. There’s also a great wave just across the channel called Lacey’s Lane.
So if you come to Currumbin to learn to surf or even just to improve you’re surfing skills, there are so many options to suit your ability in the surf!
We are located on the corner of Durrigan Street and Pacific Parade Currumbin. Drive along the Gold Coast Highway, north from Tugun and south from Palm Beach. You should reach Currumbin Bridge.
When approaching from the north, drive over the bridge and turn off the highway, heading towards the beach. The Alley is in between the rock wall and the rocks.
When approaching from the south, drive along Currumbin Beach until you reach the creek mouth.
There is loads of free parking available at the Currumbin Alley car-park and also on main road Pacific Parade, no time restrictions apply.
Also if you are travelling by bicycle there are rakes available to secure your ride.
Please meet for your surf lesson at the surfing services van at the Currumbin Alley car-park near lifeguard tower number 12.
