SAFE SURFING LESSON & DAY AT CURRUMBIN WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

Do you love Australian animals and would like to experience time at one of the Gold Coasts best beaches? Why not put them together for the best time of your life. Here at Surfing Services Australia and everyone over at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary have teamed up to create the ultimate Gold Coast experience for you! You will have a surfing lesson package and a day at Currumbin Wildlife sanctuary.

In this time, you’ll learn about all ocean safety and awareness while having lots of fun on our Soft ‘G-boards’ or our body boards. No experience needed and all ages and genders are welcome!

The lessons are taught by Mark Richardson 5 x Australian Surf Champion plus his team of friendly, hand-picked local and international surf coaches, covering all the basics:

from warm-up, to paddling, to catching waves and standing! Plus you will all receive a Safe Surfing level 1 certificate endorsed by the Australian Sports Commission. And who doesn’t love a day at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, surrounded by Australia’s finest native animals!

2 hour Safe Surfing Lesson Location

8 minute walk from Currumbin Wild Life Sanctuary or 1minute drive) All sessions are held at Currumbin Alley (Currumbin Rock end – point) Currumbin Alley, corner of Pacific Parade and Durrigan street, Currumbin (the ocean meets the river)

Please meet at The Surfgroms Surfing Services van parks opposite yellow lifeguard tower no. 12

All surfing equipment is included as part of your surfing lesson

* A surfing lesson includes the use of our soft surfboards, lycra wetshirt, sunscreen, wax and wetsuits plus lots of FUN!!

Participants need to bring swimmers/board shorts, beach towel.

Followed by Day at Currumbin Wild Life Sanctuary

Currumbin Sanctuary offers one of the best value days getting up close with a ton of the best and cutest native Aussie and exotic wildlife at the many interactive displays and wide-open enclosures while walking amongst the lush, comfortable eucalyptus and rainforest environments. All your animal favourites are here – cuddle and have your photo taken with a koala, get up close with crocodiles, hand-feed the many friendly kangaroos and much, much more. Be sure to stay around for the daily Rainbow Lorrikeet feeding – one of the main attractions!

We look forward to surfing and holding the Koalas with you all. Bookings essential prices start from $70 per person for full Beach & Currumbin Wildlife Experience (usually $109)

What to Bring

Participants don’t need to bring much other than your swimmers/board shorts, beach towel and water.

Price is $70 per person so just include the one booking box.
It is available everyday and is an all day package so no need to include times.
